The host was extremely helpful, and the house was incredible. The weather wasn’t the best, but with the amazing views and amenities, we barely even noticed the rain. It was absolutely worth the money, and we will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful stay and really appreciated everything about the house and the hosting experience. Christine and the East Coast Escape team were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and helpful from start to finish, which made the whole trip feel easy and stress-free. The house itself was great: clean, comfortable, spacious, and very well set up for a family. It had everything we needed, and it was the kind of place where we could relax right away. Even though it rained for most of the weekend, our kids still absolutely loved it. They had so much fun just being in the house, which honestly says a lot about how comfortable and enjoyable the space was. We left with great memories and would definitely stay again. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts and for making our weekend so easy and enjoyable!

There’s just so much to say about the house and property but first and most importantly Christine was super friendly and responded quickly to all of my messages which was helpful. She’s a great host for sure! The house and property were among the nicest I’ve ever stayed at. It was very clean, not cluttered, there was so much to do all while feeling very private. I only wish our stay lasted longer. It was definitely worth the price. I will potentially be coming back in the future!

We loved the style of the house, which features large rooms, high ceilings, dark wooden accents, and lots of windows. The large kitchen table was perfect for our large group to dine and socialize (we could all talk without anyone being cut out of the conversation). The property is set on a hill, but the huge back deck with the hot tub (very clean and preheated for us), and fire pit allowed us to spend many hours enjoying the backyard. There is a lovely view from the front porch. We immensely enjoyed all the activities and amenities in the basement. The beds (mattresses) and pillows were firm, and extremely comfortable, with lots of extra blankets provided (if needed). The house is well insulated, and the air conditioning worked well, so we were quite comfortable during the hot weekend. The entire house was very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils and other amenities (as described). The bathrooms have excellent water pressure. It was a huge plus to bring our dog.

I felt very safe here, it was quiet and cozy. The fire pit and walkable trail gave us stuff to do for the little time we weren't mining in Herkimer, Diamond Mountain Mine & Russel Family Mine are 45 min away. Ohio Tavern was SUPER close with great food, and great wifi if you need it for your GPS. Christine the host is always very responsive, and willing to give suggestions if needed.

Christine was an absolutely wonderful host from start to finish — responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout our stay. The home was exactly as pictured: beautiful, spacious, clean, and perfect for our group of 11 friends and family members. Everyone felt comfortable and had plenty of room to relax. This trip was secretly a “trial run” before asking our closest loved ones to be part of our bridal party 😂 and the house could not have been a more perfect setting for everyone to connect and make memories together. We especially loved the cellar entertainment area! Most of our time was spent gathered around the bar chatting, playing table games, or relaxing in the hot tub after hiking and paintball adventures. We were also so grateful Christine accommodated a late checkout so we could soak in every last moment before heading home. We’re already planning our next visit back!

Very spacious for a group of 12. We had our student fellowship retreat here. The living room is perfect for discussions. The grill and grittle were great, and the extra propines were a great gesture. We all enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and the fireplace.

We had an amazing stay. The indoor swimming pool was a dream for both the kids and adults. The house also backs up to a beautiful river, which gave us such a peaceful view. And in the evenings, we loved relaxing by the fire pit. Great waterfalls nearby
