The optional damage waiver is $50 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots GUEST CHECK-IN: 1) Entry will be by keyless entry. 2) Guest check-in screening will occur via a security camera. 3) Please ensure the reservation accounts for the correct number of guests and a pet (2 pets maximum) if you bring one. WILDLIFE Please note: As our home is nestled in the Poconos, it’s possible to see or hear local wildlife such as mice, chipmunks, squirrels, bugs/spiders/ants, deer, raccoons, or even the occasional bear. We do our best to prevent indoor visits with routine pest control, but nature is all around here! HOUSE SUPPLIES We provide a starter supply of essentials, including dish pods, laundry detergent, paper towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper, to help you settle in comfortably. We kindly recommend bringing additional items to ensure you have everything you need throughout your visit or for longer stays and larger groups. We do not supply mid-stay if you are with us for more than 3 days. Please plan accordingly to purchase some of your own items. SMART TVs Streaming service logins are not provided, you may use your own logins to stream. FIREPIT 1) Firewood is not provided but packages can be purchased ahead of time to ensure there is wood upon arrival. Contact us directly. FIREPLACE 1) Fireplace downstairs is for display only. Not to be used. 2) Living room fireplace works and is functional. POOL 1) Seasonal use (open May to September) 2) Please pack additional pool towels if needed. LAUNDRY SPACE 1) Washer/dryer located in the home for use 2) Some supplies may be left over by previous guests but please plan accordingly and pack essentials needed if you plan on doing wash during your stay. PROPERTY SERVICE/ MAINTENANCE 1) Please note house maintenance or services may come at some point during your stay for routine care on the property (ex: lawn), we ask for your cooperation during this time if the services come during your stay. Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay.
